National Cancer Institute (INT) of Milan built in 1928, is located in the Città Studi district, near the Polytechnic, the University of Science in the Milanese capital and within easy reach of the Hotel Delizia.
Since its inception, the Institute’s objective has been to offer hospital support and assistance to citizens suffering from oncological diseases, the activity of the center has increasingly evolved in the field of research, diagnosis and therapy, so much so that it has become over the years, one of the most important national reference points for traditional, innovative and experimental treatments.
The great experience of the medical and nursing staff achieved in these almost one hundred years of activity, allows people who use the center, to take advantage of services with a degree of very high competence so as to obtain the qualification of Comprehensive Cancer at the Institute of Tumors. Center by the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI).
In addition, the hospital is the largest center in Italy for oncology for pediatric patients and the only Italian institution authorized to carry out liver transplants.
